Very nice, great cars! |
That must have been exciting. I always enjoy watching the auctions on Speed. What's it like to actually be there buying? I have been thinking about going for a long time now. |
Congrats, those are sick purchases! |
Nice. In the "right" colors too. |
Wow what a sick purchase! Congrats! |
That Challenger is amazing! I have seen lime, orange, plum but dont remember last time I saw black one... must be rare. |
challenger is probably amongst top 5. little known fact. the hemi cudaswere stock with the shaker hoods, whcih are sick looking. the challengers were not stock that way. i think only 9 hemis' ever produced in 71 had shaker hooks. 18 blacks. x# of 4 speeds. ultimately with those combos, this is 1 of 1 in the world. i have the sheets at the office. but its a nasty awsome machine. i think its like 550 hp or some monstrocity like that. all stock. 5800 miles. oen fo the top 5 hemi challengers from 71, the year. definately a sick deal. know the seller, great guy. dude has a collection such that this was the 'kick to the curb' car if you can believe that. him and his buddies have a host of 71 ragtop hemis and otehr ragtop mopars. for reference, a 71 hemi cuda rag top brings 2mil. if a challenger rag top maybe another 1mil. if a triple black, which this guy owns, you turn away 5mil. oil tycoons who wear jeans from texas love paying up for ragtop hemi cudas. its a strange world in cuda land. very strange.
