A Panamera you'll likely not see anywhere else

Forgive the following photo’s, they were taken with my Blackberry
Last night, my wife and I attended a private event at the High Museum of Atlanta, prior to the opening of the Allure of the Automobile event. I did not take a camera because you’re typically not allowed to take pics at the museum. However, on this night, since it was a private event, pictures were allowed, so I took shots with my Blackberry. So forgive the quality. Despite the low photo quality, the “allure” of these cars really does come through. I’ll make another thread with shots of all the cars at the event shortly.

But I’ll start with a Panamera that, chances are, you’ll see no where else.
2010 Porsche Lenticular Panamera

This is a Panamera that is completely covered with holographic photographs of the car on the road. It is wild to say the least.

My wife was trying to run from the camera, and she almost got away with it.

More pics of wife, B. ;)

I really hope I get back down there during the display.

LOL!
She's been feeling like ass because of an issue that has caught us by surprise. This was our first night out in over a month because of it. She wanted no part of pictures. I tried to reason with her and at least let me offer up a little T&A. She may feel bad, but has a figure to die for. No luck.

The show is running through June 20th. So hopefully I can get up with a few of you goons.

I will be at the exhibit next Friday and am looking forward to it. My Panamera was supposed to be built (born?) today, waiting for the VIN from the dealer so i can track its journey to my garage.

Outstanding! You will thoroughly enjoy it.

You may not make it in the front door though... There is a stunning white Panamera sitting right outside in the quad... Don't steal it...

That looks pretty cool, I've never seen that being done.

Wife looks good too, even though I can barely make her out in the picture.

Loved the exhibit, the cars are terrific, you can get real close and take pictures (don't touch them however) and the informational displays are good as is the audio narration which costs extra but is worth it and features Jay Leno, Alain de Cadenet, and a few other notables. The stories behind many of the cars are great. In the room with the 550 coupe racer, video of the Carerra Panamericana race runs on the wall in a continuous loop and its great to watch as well. My favorites were the Mercedes 550K, the Aston Martin Zagato and of course, the seminal Porsche body built in 1938 which is the progenitor of all Porsches and has never been seen outside of Europe which is set up in it own room.
There were no Panameras on display, that may have been a special deal for the preview nights sponsored by PCNA. If you are in the area, its worth the effort to see.
