The MYFORD TOUCH consists of an 8” color LCD screen controlled via touch screen or voice commands. MYFORD TOUCH is available as an option in the 2011-2012 Ford Focus, Edge, Explorer, Lincoln MKX and the 2013 Ford Taurus.

Purchasers of this option get the MyFord Touch system with two driver-configurable 4.2" color LCD displays in the gauge cluster, one 8" color LCD touch screen in the center stack, a media hub with 2 USB ports, SD card reader, RCA video input jacks and 5-way controls located on steering wheel; Sync voice activated communications and entertainment system (Free three year pre-paid subscription for 911 Assist, Vehicle Health Reports, traffic reports, GPS-based turn by turn driving directions and information services).

One feature that does not come standard with the new MY Touch Ford infotainment system is a factory backup camera for safety. On the 2012 Ford Explorer equipped with the MyTouch system it is about $5300 to add a Rearview Camera to the LCD Screen. This is part of a Package that includes other amenities.

NAV-TV released the world’s first aftermarket rear view camera integration solution for all Ford and Lincoln vehicles that come equipped with the MYFORD TOUCH entertainment system. Called the, "MYFORD TOUCH PROGRAMMER", it is a plug-and-play rear view camera integration module, allowing for the addition of an aftermarket back up camera to be viewed on the factory LCD monitor. The backup camera image is displayed automatically on the LCD/Navigation Screen whenever the vehicle is placed into reverse, providing the safest and optimal method for operating a vehicle while backing up.
