Moving in Stereo. Just thought I would post some scanned images from a Car Audio article written up about my car back in February of 1999. Not my car at the time of course, but it shows what state of the art was 10+ years ago. Now more of just a weight penalty. I've made some aesthetic changes as everyone knows, but if you have a minute to read, it's pretty cool. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...AC-SSN0002.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...AC-SSN0003.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...AC-SSN0004.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...AC-SSN0005.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...AC-SSN0006.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...AC-SSN0007.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...AC-SSN0008.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x.../DSC04604b.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x.../DSC05051m.jpg I'm so tempted to rip it all out and put it back to stock, but the sound is insane. :yup: |
Pretty cool, depending on what the car is to be used for I might keep it! |
Cool article... I love that deck, that came out my senior year of high school and I spent nearly an entire year of auto shop installing that deck into different cars as one of our classmates "stumbled upon" a large quantity of them and was selling them on the cheap. |
Sad thing is I still remember all those old issues I read in college. Man I miss doing stereo work now :( something about it was so peaceful to me. |
