993 feels like I'm driving a peice of history. A significant one at that. It's not particularly fast, doesnt handle particularly well, but it has lots of character. But in a Boxster I feel ready to take on any twist or turn and beat all competitors. On the track the 981 is awe inspiring!

Umm, maybe it is just me, but why not get both??? I am completely vexed... :shrug:

Both is definitely the plan. I turned in my 2008 987S lease two months ago and a friend traded in the 1997 993 Cab with only 38,000 miles the same day. I bought it immediately! Wife has one year of PhD studies left then I can get the 981S too!

I was behind a grey one with red roof yesterday and may have fallen in love. With some wider rear tyres and a drop it'll have a seriously amazing stance to match it's looks.
