My car's 1 year birthday gift: new carbon fiber wing! She's been good for the year I've had her, so a reward was necessary. Here's a quick side by side of the OEM vs. the new addition: http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/photo2-4.jpg Took 15 mins to install once I got a Torx15 and cracked a beer. Here's the stock wing: http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/photo1-3.jpg New wing installed: http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/photo4-2.jpg And my favorite shot so far: http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/photo5-1.jpg It's exactly what I wanted. It's OEM+ with a classic ducktail vibe to it. Perfect!! Now, time to win the final autocross round tomorrow and take home my class championship!! |
That looks really good. I love the half carbon look, makes it look really OEM. |
Love the look! Very tasteful mod |
That looks fantastic! Nice job. And happy birthday to your car. :) |
Looks awesome, nice work! |
looks great, carbon goes well with grey :) any pics of the side profile of the car? |
Looks great! |
Looks nice, can we get a shot from farther back to see it as a whole? |
Thanks for all the compliments guys! Shout out any pic requests and I'll try to snap them tomorrow. hg and diskreet, do you want the wing in the up position or down? Most prefer it up, I prefer it down to retain the ducktail look. |
Yeah keep it down, or maybe do both. The ducktail looks awesome, and isn't too attention grabbing. Nice and discreet. Beautiful color on your Cayman as well. |
