It just looks fun to drive!

Should be a real blast to drive. I would take all black.

Not like the Spyder, the R has no style! Just few colors here and there with an ugly fixed wing while keeping the old one beneath it... from day one I saw this as an insult to Cayman enthusiasts!

The original Cayman looks more classy and more sporty than this.

^ looks exactly the same honestly. Aesthetically there is no difference (besides the stickers).

This car is growing on me

It really annoys me that standard equipment costs extra on these special models. Especially when these are such spectacular performers. The difference in price over the S should cover all of the new parts and engineering, including the almost zero effort involved in installing an existing air conditioning unit.

When I was seriously considering a Boxster Spyder, I quickly realized why Porsche is the most profitable car company out there - everything is an optional extra, and it's all very expensive.

i like it, and look forward to driving one... i want those wheels for mine

Spyder > Cayman R

Ill pass on this one. I think the idea of the car is a great one --- the execution is not.
