I recently made some wheel racks using closet maid parts from Lowes. didnt really look great but they were functional.

Then I came across Griots hangers. I purchased the shorter length ones because I liked the way they display the wheel. Once you receive your order, it includes the necessary hardware.

First thing you want to do is find the stud.

Mark the width of the stud.

Line up the hanger so that at least two of the holes line up within the stud width.

Use the drill bit and drill pilot holes. Use the enclosed bolts and washers, then drill one of the bolts to hold the hanger in place.

Use the level to make sure it is mounted straight.

Once the bolts are all in use a socket wrench to make sure they are tight. You only need 4 bolts drilled into the stud to hold 225lbs.

The size of the wheels I have are approximately 27" with tires. I wanted to leave 3-4" between the wheels so I mounted them 31" from the middle of the pole to pole.

Slide the wheels on and your done.

The 305 series on 11" wide wheels fit perfect!

Thanks for the post on the wall mount wheel hangers. Looked on Griots site and could not find them. Called Griots and the person I talked to could locate them online but not in their catalog. Is there an Griots item number you can give me to help locate them. This would be a perfect way to store the chromes for the winter months. Thanks
