Looking at 05 LR3's
 

So there are a couple of these around me that have come up for sale. They are higher millage, so I wanted to see what things I should look for. And experiences others have had with them.

Leaky roofs and suspension faults.
Check the carpets for any hint of water and open and close the roofs a few times listening for cracking noises.
Play with all of the electronic suspension components, if they work, they won't in a few weeks.
When you are getting a PPI done on the car, make nice with the service advisor, he'll be your new best friend.
Other than that, they really are beastly off road and I'll probably buy one again.

make sure you get the V8 not the v6 they are under powered for the weight of the LR3, and get the HSE if possible, Nav, HID and front and rear parking senors.
