I thought the Aventador was supposed to be the direct competitor to the "new 599." But if Lambo is coming out with a front engined supercar coupe I'm more than excited to see it. I really hope this happens.

Press days are 13 and 14 September, public days are 15 to 25 September.
I will be there on the 13th to check out the new Lamborghini ...

 

I'm guessing you have access to Lambo's press site. Are there anymore teasers?

 

At the moment there are no teasers on the official press site ... could be starting next week I guess ... or they just release it on the evening of the 12th when they have the VIP intro near Frankfurt.

I would make a guess and say some new limited edition will be on show, just like the last two IAA shows ... Reventon four years ago, Reventon Roadster two years ago ... who knows what they come up with this year. Paris is the show for concepts, the Estoque three years ago, the Sesto Elemento last year.

But let's dream a bit : Lamborghini V12 GT with the engine up front and only two doors :
