Lamborghini Prototype Exhibition @ the Audi Museum
#13
Very cool seeing the Canto in the finished flesh. I remember seeing the camo pics of the test car in Road & Track and thinking that those fender scoops can't be that BIG. Then, VW bought Lamborghini and Piech ditched it and the Murcielago was born.
I think it went that way.

The glass factory is there where final assembly is in a factory with glass walls,
people can take delivery there of their new Audis. Also a complete plant, stampings to final assembly is available
for tour right next door, there is an open
air restaurant there (in summer) where you can buy lunch (also have inside restaurant for bad weather)), and the Audi Museum is there. Great Museum, the old Audi 1930's GP cars are there. I think the new Mercedes Museum is Mercedes answer to the Audi Museum. So it's a nice place. Good bookstore and shop. You can
spend a whole day between the plant tours
and the Museum.
