Cristiano Renaldo's Aventador had to be Towed

"The Portuguese soccer star and great diver was on the way to Real Madrid teammate Pepe’s birthday when he had a bit of trouble with his black Lamborghini which cost his around 300k (or £200K). Ronaldo had to call in mechanics to see if they could get it started, but unfortunately money can’t buy you luck and the car was forced to be towed, like so many before it. If I ever spent 300k on a car and it broke down, I would have some words with the dealer."

People hating on CR7... The only human being on the planet that can talk shit about him is Messi.

Ced Mar 8, 2012 10:50 PM

is he refusing to get outta the car?

gmaccormack Mar 8, 2012 10:56 PM

No Ced they aren't impounding the car. He's probably In there to steer it as it was winched on to the deck.

I am annoyed by the author's comment that they would be mad if a 300k car broke down. It is still a mechanical device with lots of moving parts. The cost doesn't mean it is bulletproof. Some people have no clue.

Would love it if Sir Alex's successor is Mourinho...and he brings CR7 back with him. Wished he had stayed with United, what a talent.

Bit off topic, but that display midweek shows that the job Ferguson is doing week in week out in the Premiership is nothing short of a miracle. There is zero depth in this squad and the injuries have been incredible. Yet they sit 2 points behind Citeh with an arguably easier run in. This version of United really is the one of the weakest Ive seen in 37yrs following the club. When you have to bring scholes out of retirement ....:dizzy:
