^Judging from what that link reads I'm going to go ahead and say we already knew/saw this coming.

But still this article was worth a read. Extensive use of carbon fiber, weigth decrease sounds like a right ingridients for a future supercar. Even a E85 is not so bad idea, judging by Bentley and future Bugattis also. But I really not sure about things like hybrid systems, start-stop and all other features really necessary on a supercar.

I just bought the new EVO magazine and their is an article in it on the new LP-570 SL and it says that the Lamborghini Jota will have a brand new carbon monocell made by the same company that built the carbon monocell for the Mclaren MP4-12C. Sounds like the Jota is going to be a huge step for Lamborghini as for as engineering goes.

Yes, there is a thread with the scan of that article I have posted some time ago. For me everything about carbon fiber, lower weight and higher power-to-weight ration are great news. Lets just hope that pure Lambo experience will not suffer from all that stuff, I rather afraid that Murcie successor could become more usable and less emotional than current SV.

All of this is great and all, but I am really devastated about the eventual demise of manual gear boxes. I think it would be a mistake to do away with them completely. Hell, at least offer it as an option. I would gladly pay extra money to have my manual transmission in a car.

I bet M/T cars will rise in prices on the used car market once the last m/t is produced.
