2012 BMW 6-Series 650i Convertible | Isringhausen Imports

The all-new 2012 BMW 650i Convertible is here and is simply irresistible. It comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that delivers 400 horsepower at 5,500 rpm, a 40-horsepower bump over its predecessor. There is a plethora of new features on the car, but one that really stood out to me is their DynamicDrive system. This feature alters the setting of the springs, shock absorbers, antiroll bars, throttle mapping, gearbox shift points and the weighting of the steering. It's all controlled by which setting you have the car in, Comfort, Normal, Sport and Sport Plus modes. Sport Plus even delays the intervention of the stability and traction control systems. Along with classy, new styling, BMW has also increased the external dimensions of the 6 Series convertible, adding 3 inches to its overall length and 1.5 inches to its width.

For any questions about this car or any other cars we have in inventory, you can reach me anytime via Teamspeed PM, email at geoffjr@isringhausen.com, or call/text me on my cell phone at (217) 725-2022.

Yeah they do have a bit of a Ferrari flavor! I agree, a Vermilion Red Black Sapphire would look awesome...

The 2012 650i Convertible is about 3 inches longer than the previous 6-Series. It's also wider and lower, which translate into more space inside, according to BMW. While it's roofline is lower than the previous model, it has more headroom front and rear and more legroom in the back. The reclining angle of the rear seatbacks now also matches the angle in its sedans, which is a really nice improvement.

I only ask cause Im dealing with 2 car seats at times... looks for something with a little more room

GeoffJr@Isringhausen May 4, 2011 12:22 PM

If that's what you're looking for, this car would be a good way to go then, two sets of car seat hooks in the back with plenty of room.
