Celebrate 50 Years Of James Bond's Rides

Five decades of Bond movies have featured some of the world's prettiest ladies, the wackiest of villains, a handsome British spy, and always sexy cars that adorned boyhood dreams. James Bond has driven everything from an the Aston Martin DB5 to a Lotus Esprit submarine, to the latest and greatest exotic vehicles. Not to mention the chase scenes have always been pretty awesome and outrageous!

James Bond may have a license to kill, but we'd have to think his driver's license would get revoked if he was ever caught by the police.

"Marking the first time in UK history all the Bond films will be available to enjoy in one place, in HD, on demand and without ad breaks, Sky Movies 007 HD launches on 5 October 2012. Uniting all six Bonds in one exhilarating car chase sequence using footage from Dr No, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who Loved Me, The Living Daylights, Goldeneye, The World Is Not Enough and Quantum of Solace, Sky Movies' seamless sequence features all of the Bonds as portrayed over the course of the franchise by Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig."

I may be biased here but one of my more recent favorites was Famke Janssen in the red Ferrari 355 GTS playing cat and mouse with Pierce (thank goodness Daniel Craig replaced him).

Out of all the toys I acquired as a child I was most enamored by the Corgi Toys replicas of the James Bond Lotus Esprit and the Aston Martin DB5. Very cool montage!!
