Aston Martin CEO Revs The Heck Out of the New Vanquish

That has to be one of, if not THE best sounding car on sale at the moment. Utterly gorgeous and a deliciously rich, multi-tonal exhaust sound. Stunning.
Regarding the manual 'box - I spoke to an Aston guy who was supporting the grey Vanquish at the Wilton House Supercar day a few weeks ago, and he told me that there has already been one wealthy Chinese customer who has arranged for his car to be taken off the line directly to AM Works who will be fitting the manual gearbox from the DBS.
It's effectively the same chassis, engine and drivetrain so there's no reason why it won't fit. I shudder to think of the cost though.
The old Vanquish manual conversion was about £20,000 IIRC.

Beautiful AM for sure but, is it just me that when I see/hear somebody rev the pi$$ out of things right up to redline with no load think: WTF is this clown doing? At least I presume they are doing so on a warmed up motor? Broken in yet? I know this particular car will prolly end up crushed so what does it matter? Would you buy something where there is a vid out there of someone trying to blow it up?
