Help! Can't quit safari! I switched on my Mac this morning. Opened Safari and after usual browsing, I decided to shut down my mac. And it refuses to shut down saying Safari is open, and click quit safari from apple menu. I tried doing that but can't click on the quit safari. I'm currently using Mac OS X 10.6.8 And I have even tried the 'Force quit' from apple menu, doesn't work. |
I have a Mac too. You have to push the start button for 4-5 seconds until the system shut down..sometimes It's the only way to force the opens applications to quit. |
Even tried that, displays the same message. Thanks anyway. |
If it's helplessly froze, unplug & remove battery ... works every time. Downside .. if you've any other apps running & can't save them .. you know the routine |
Didn't unplug the battery. I tried restarting it, surprisingly it restarted. After that I got an error report, reported it to apple. Now its working perfectly fine |
Safari can't quit you either. |
In Mother Russia Safari quits you. |
