How to control iTunes from ....

I currently have iTunes on a Mac Mini hardwired into my system..

I'm confused (as usual) about how (and if) I can control iTunes running on that computer from another computer.

I know I can stream the music (from) that computer to my MBA...I also know I can use the remote app and my iPhone.

I have the computers on the same network..

any help appreciated.

I would just use Windows remote desktop sharing

This might be what you want.
TuneConnect 2

Tune Connect is a free powerful application for Mac OS X ,which allows you to control iTunes on a remote Mac that is part of our(local) network. So, no matter which computer we use, we can control the playback of music on any computer in the house. Using the power of Remote Apple Events and AppleScript, two technologies built right in to Mac OS X, TuneConnect accomplishes its job quickly and easily (and freely, thanks to its open source licensing).

You want airfoil:

Might be overkill, but if the Apple computers are on the same network it should be a piece of cake to share screens and control one device using the other.
