Powerbook G4 Battery Won't Charge. Is it feeked? Need a new one? It holds no charge what so ever. If the power goes out, the clock resets to 1970. |
Thought of taking it in, 'genius?' Pun intended. |
Blame it on Y2K. I heard Apple still hadn't solved that problem yet. |

Seeing as Apple hasn't made a Powerbook G4 in over five years, your battery is at least that old, so chances are it has stored its last volt. Take it to an Apple store or VAR and they'll troubleshoot it for you. There's also a slight chance it's covered under a battery recall. |

Sounds like it's done. I got a new battery from this company last year. Mac Repair - Powerbook Parts, Powerbook Repair, iBook and Macbook Upgrades - Powerbook Medic |

That would require effort on my behalf, and since it isn't my computer, I would like to palm of such responsibility. Guess it's a new battery time. |
