Help! Trying to buy a pre-owned 997S, any advice?

Good luck with the car hunt. Most 997 models don't have the oomph that the GT-R offers, but I think a 997 is a much better car overall.

Thanks Dave. I drove the GT-R around before I sold it and it definitely has some serious punch to it. From a stand still the car has crushing acceleration that pins you into your seat, it's definitely the most torque I've ever experienced. At the same time, I couldn't keep it because my heart was set on a 997 for the overall looks, heritage, and overall quality.

White (with black interior) is a hot color for a Porsche.... As a matter of fact that is the color I ordered... but it is always a personal opinion....

Thanks, I figured you would be supportive of that move. I'm in the process of having my 997S shipped to me. More details to follow once the car actually arrives.
