Congrats again Chris! Enjoy your new ride in that amazing color. How do you feel about the front lip? It looks pretty good!

A bit of a side note, what's with all the craze of LEDs these days? They do look better than normal lights, but when tacked on to a car that wasn't meant to have them it just looks out of place and cheap. Your 997.1's rear looks so good as it is, but I mean everybody has different tastes.

Hey I'm not sure how much car stuff you do on your own, but I have the durametric OBD II tool any time you want or need to use it. I have experienced with my car (w/rennlist help) that sometimes the smallest things will set off a warning light on the dash. It gives you some pretty sweet diagnostic tools as well. It was only 349 I wanna say....not certain though

I don't want to say I totally agree...but I have looked at these as well and I'm mixed. They do look good, but I feel that the lights on the front are sort of a nod to the 964 lights...after thinking about it in that light I decided to keep mine original. To each his own though...if you end up not loving them you could turn around and re-sell them for no loss. just my .02

Both the 997.1 and 997.2 rear lights here look equally as good.

997.2 rear lights here look way better than those 997.1 kit lights.

To each his own, but LEDs have a lot of advantages including less power use, longer life (almost never burn out), and come on instantly. I'm not faking the funk to be a 997.2 (I've owned one) - I think they look good (saw them in person) and they are functional.
