20' on your 997 - Pics Here 7 Attachment(s) Post any road experiences as well if u can! |
20" on my 997tt I love them and have had no problems. The ride is fine. I personally can't feel the difference from the 19's. I also tracked mine with the 20's and ran a 1:33 at Hallett on street tires and 20's. I don't see what the big deal is. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...Hallett007.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...Hallett009.jpg |
Techart Formula II 2 Attachment(s) 245/30/20 315/25/20 |
Just curious, how much does a set of 20" TechArt wheels run? |
That depends on what Techart rim you want. Mine are Techart Formula II rims, which are a bit more expensive than the first generation. If you get them in black or anthracite, the price is even greater. You could probably get new first generation Techart rims for $3k-ish. Probably $4,500 for Formula IIs in silver. Add another $600 or so for black or anthracite. |

Went with techart 20's as well and can't feel a difference between that and the 19's we had before. But the 20's definitely make the car on a silver 997 cab, and they look incredible while moving. I'll take some pictures tomorrow and post them of the car. |
4 Attachment(s) I run my car on both 19's and 20's,my conclusion: 20's are the lookers while 19's are the performers. Car's notably faster accelerator on the 19's which are btw also lights - OZ superleggeras while the 20's are Ruf 5 spokes known to be on the heavy side. |
