New JRZ RS1's for deepblue

A couple of us ordered some JRZ RS1's about a month ago, they just arrived - woohoo! Ain't they purdy? We're going to try a street/track friendly 700rear/450 front spring rates and a couple different alignment specs to see which works the best.

Should be able to take some installation pics and some corner balancing, driving impressions in the near future.

how much?

They MSRP for about $5000 a set, definitely get with some other buyers and pitch a group deal with a vendor, not sure if one of the sponsors give special TS discounts but worth checking out. Definitely research springs rates, JRZ customizes the setups.

Your build is one of the best; well thought out, high quality parts for every aspect of the car. Congrats on some really nice suspension!

Wow, I really appreciate that, thank you! Probably one of the nicest compliments I have received. This was the goal from the beginning, have all the mods work together for a solid, drivable and reliable car, I have a nice set of ADV's being made as I write this to round it all out, I'll eventually get some pics, videos and have been asked about some magazine articles that I need to be home for to coordinate.

Had the JRZ RS1 installed yesterday, more or less straight up swap with the X73's that came off. We also upgraded the sway bars and end links while there. One of the difficult areas was the GMG RSR roll bar, it attaches to the rear strut mounts so it had to be loosened to get the rear coilovers replaced. Tuesday it goes in to get corner balanced and aligned.

How do you know you have some good friends? When you are out of town and they cover installing everything while you're away, regardless of brand of car, my motorsport buddies have been among my closest friends.

Loosening up the GMG RSR bar to get the rear coilovers replaced, the small boxes on the shelf are JL 6.5" subs which are truly amazing.

The rear X73's and sway bar are removed, the IC pipe is part of the protomotive 1000hp setup.

The rear JRZ RS1 installed along with the end links and stiffer adjustable sway bar. the strut thickness shows how thick the IC pipes are.

Pete Miller pic from earlier that morning, we will be using the GT2 height specs which will lower it a little more than the X73's.

Awesome! Can't wait to hear about how this thing drives with dialed suspension and that much power!
