The only 997 test mule I've seen in videos or pictures was a development video posted by Porsche. I loved how they put the stickers on the front to give it 996 lights.

Does anyone have some pictures of a 997 mule?

 

This was probably a Turbo car, the rear wing was camoed in the same way, and what was interesting is that it had led's on the front. This was a 997.1 mule.
They always get grumpy when you take pics, I remember years ago when the 997 and Caymen mules came past my house, they let me look if my phone was away. When I started asking questions, they said it was a BMW.

BTW thanks for the pics, interesting how they do the camo on these, the mules look kinda like the old ones.

I actually think this is a Carrera, because it looks just like the one in the development video for the Carrera.

 

I like how the mirrors are attached to the door like the 993 !

 

Also due to EU regulations, nowadays the mirror must be attached to the door. Kind of weird but it looks ok.

I'm also worried about the size. I'm sure as a car it will be fantastic in every way but I miss the go-cart feeling and aesthetics of the 993.

But most of all I wish they could bring the enginge sound back. Make it sound like the 996 C4S and it's a definite winner, all the 997 Carrera's are extremely dull sounding.

 

Yeah possibly. Would be nice if they kept the big scalloped intakes in the rear wings.
