I think I'm ordering the Turbo S
 

I am very new to Porsche so please cut me some slack... :-) I am still learning....

Having just got rid of my SL550 I was convinced I would order a new California, wow great I thought.... until I started reading through this website !!!!

Having now read up on the 2011 911 Turbo S I am being swayed towards this car as my daily driver, especially as it comes out in the region of $70k cheaper.

I have not visited a dealer as yet but can anyone advise the aprox order to delivery time, I live in Orlando, FL ?

I am looking at Meteor Grey with the Black/Cream full leather option and Basalt Black Turbo II wheels.

One other question, is there an option to have twin exhaust tips instead of the standard ones, I much prefer the look of them on the 911 4S.

As for the cream leather - well, unless you enjoy seeing the dirt and belt marks across the back of the seat cushion, think of other options instead.

The car is phenomenal in every way. Not that the F car wouldn't be, but this at least you can drive daily if you like and not worry about it.

I have the TechArt twin tips on my '09 Turbo with Tubi exhaust, so consider aftermarket pipes and tips once you take delivery.

Other than that, enjoy the order process. Spend a LOT of time on these boards and make sure your dealer understands exactly what YOU want....this can take weeks to figure out.

Eddy first off welcome to the TEAM!

Champion is a sponsor here in Florida and I am sure would take great care of you. Great choice on the Turbo but the California isn't a bad option either for top down cruising! (Flame Suit on) You can't lose either route you take INMO.

For the tips you can go with a few setups and I am sure a few of the tuning partners here can chime in.

Welcome to the forum, I would get one over a California as well. The black with creme centres looks nice, make sure you get lots of leather options, carbon and painted black interior trim would make it look even better. I dont like meteor honestly, how about getting one in a colour similar to the Sports Classic Porsche.

I think that the Cali with the bigger wheels is a fantastic looking car and it also sounds great! I recently saw one at Ferrari of Seattle and I have to say i was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't write it off just yet as it is a great car as well.
