Where/how are these mounted? They don't look like replacements for the OEM units

They are supposed to replace the LED's in the nose now but I hear a little trimming is needed, I don't actually get it myself Dave.

I was waiting for this from TA, but after I found out that the actually sit below our current LED turn signals, it really seems a bit out of place. I was hopeing they would replace the OEM ones like how they do for the type 2 bumper.
If I am not mistaken, it actually replaces one of the intake slats?
I think I will opt for the speedart ones.

I won't be interested either if they don't replace the existing LEDs, looks out of place if it just replaces one of the slats. Speedart looks to be the better choice
