Alan, are these a new Mich Tire? The side wall looks diff to me. |
DJ, The tires are the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup N0 tires that are on the GT3 and GT3 RS. |
Are they going to makes these wheels in 18"? The HRE CF43 would be an awesome track wheel, though very expensive. |
HRE does have plans for this wheel in 18". No dates or time line as of yet.

So much win!!! |
I have to agree. The silver centers from far off look like a small wheel with a huge tire! |
The darker color centers may be more to your liking. https://teamspeed.com/forums/997-996...ries-cf40.html

Looks sick - love the Atlas Turbo... Alan - I need to get winter wheels - please PM me what works in Porsche OE 18" (new or take-offs) for a 997.2 C4S. If you can send prices, too, that would be great! |
Thank you for the compliments. Quote on the way.

The customer visited our shop yesterday to report on how much he enjoys the wheels. He had a weekend track event and everything performed flawlessly. "Steering input is much more quickly transmitted due to the reduced weight. One of the more notable things is that the car is smoother over variations in the road. Very happy." |
Alan any input on putting Nitrogen in the tires too ? |
DJ, I am not convinced as of yet that Nitrogen is a benefit.
