The 458 is a million times better looking when it's dropped a bit.

I agree but I'm not dropping mine. Wouldn't risk losing the warranty. Besides those cars were engineered to those specs.

I believe the front bumper height of the 458 in US is higher due to DOT regulations, not Ferrari specs.....Euro cars are lower.
