Service Questions Does anyone know which car would require less service or would have be less expensive to service. A 2004 360 Stradale or a 2008 430 Scuderia. I have heard Ferrari's in general are more expensive than a Porsche. |

I have heard the 360's have belts and the 430's have chain...therefore the 430's are much less expensive to work on. The diecast models of both that I can afford are pretty much equal in overall service costs. |
I'd think that the 360 would be more based off of the fact it requires belt services. Hopefully RufMD, Kuzi, h20skier or any of the others who have/had both can share their experience. |
Thanks for the feed back! |
While it is true that the 360 has belts while the 430 is chain driven, the 430 will cost more over time because the scheduled maintenance is much more expensive. This is particularly true for the "major" services. |
So its safe to say a brake job is about the same for the 360and 430 as well |
^ That depends on whether or not you have carbon breaks. After 2008, all F430s came with carbon breaks standard. Obviously, this includes Scuds. I would think that the Scuderia breaks would be larger. As has been mentioned, several members own both. I just have a standard 360 - so what do I know? :) |

Dana, what all is different within the scheduled maintenance between the two? I know you've done your research.. :D |
