Porsche P'8924 Iconic Contour

Just in time for the Memorial Day weekend fireworks and barbecues, Porsche Design P’8924a comes in two colors, each limited to 911 pairs.

Memorial Day is around the corner, and thus, summer. Once Monaco and Indy have wrapped up Sunday, you’ll likely grab your pair of Porsche Design shades for a drive around town, then return to celebrate the start of summer with fireworks and barbecues. And, of course, plant a flag or two upon the final resting place of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, and the world.

Porsche Design, too, is ready for the official start of summer. What better way to kick things off than with a limited-edition pair of their latest and greatest, the P’8924 Iconic Contour.

The P’8924 Iconic Contour “was developed much like a piece of art, born from the idea to have the glasses appear to have been drawn by hand with one continuous sweeping stroke.” That said, the sunglasses need not be kept in a glass case for proper enjoyment. Simply placing them upon your face will guarantee all eyes will be upon yours.

Porsche Design dropped not one, but two versions of the P’8924 Iconic Contour to choose from. If your style is down-to-earth, the palladium frames with olive lenses call to mind trees full of green leaves to shade you from the summer sun. Meanwhile, those who enjoy the cool waters of their favorite beach can turn their style up to eleven with blue-black lenses surrounded in black with gold edging.

No matter which pair you choose, though, you’ll be the hit of the Memorial Day weekend, thanks to Porsche Design’s iconic quality and styling. There’s no going wrong with the P’8924 Iconic Contour, or any of the brand’s full line of sunglasses (especially behind the wheel of a 911 or Taycan).

That said, you don’t want to sleep on the Porsche Design P’8924 Iconic Contour. Limited to 911 copies each, the glasses retail for $1,200. Both styles are available how at your nearest Porsche Design shop, or via their website.

Plus, you can try them on before pulling the trigger via the Porsche Design Instagram Try-On filter. Just whip out your phone’s camera, scan the QR code, and the rest is history.
