Mansory Introduces a Vibrant Ferrari Portofino Reproduction

Mansory has unveiled a Ferrari Portofino reproduction, and it might be the European atelier’s most passionate model yet.

We are big fans of European tunning company Mansory and its striking albeit controversially re-interpreted offerings. With the popularity of SUVs and crossovers at an all-time high right now, it seemed like the company was focusing its efforts on high-riding models. The European atelier has now unveiled a customized Ferrari Portofino, which might be its most passionate model yet.

The Portofino is the 3rd Ferrari model that Mansory has customized this year. The sports car now features a retractable hardtop which is made entirely out of carbon fiber. The car now sports several add-ons such as the air vents for the hood and the front apron, which are also made out of forged carbon. The carbon fiber treatment continues onto Portofino’s lid spoiler along with other components that include mirror caps, side skirts, door handles, pillars, and rear apron.

The Carbon fiber components offer a striking contrast to the car’s vibrant paint job. The German tuning company swapped the stock wheels for custom rims that feature yellow accents that compliment the body work’s paint scheme. At the front of the sports car, we find a pair of 21-inch alloys, whereas the rear axle adorns 22-inch rims.

Mansory came up with an all-new YT.5 design for the Portofino rims, and the tuning company will offer the new wheels as part of its Ferrari tuning program, which is scheduled for a launch later in the year. The interior of Mansory Portofino is wrapped in plush black leather and flaunts contrasting yellow accents that match the vibrant paint scheme of the Italian sports car. The tuner also ditched the prancing horse logo on the steering wheel in favor of a carbon fiber Mansory badge.

In true Mansory tradition, the company also tweaked Portofino’s stock 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 motor. The sports car now produces 710 HP of power and 656 lb-ft of peak torque which means this Portofino now houses 119 additional horses under the hood. According to the German company, Mansory Portofino can hit the 62 MPH mark from a standstill in just 3 seconds, and the car’s top speed has been bumped up to 208 MPH.
