That looks like a great vacation! You chose a great week to leave Albuquerque, it was damn near 100 every day that you were out of town.

Yup, it was great. No cell phone service, no internet, no contact with anyone at all.

I'm so way late to this thread, but I've been up in AK an average of a week every month the last few. It's nutty how it's light out 90% of the day huh? I'm staying in Anchorage which is kind of a shit city if you ask me, but damn the nature is beautiful out there.

I've eaten at Simon and Siefert. Nice view, but I got previously frozen fish that was underseasoned. FWIW everyone else at the table liked theirs. I was dumb enough to not order salmon because I had it like 4 nights in a row.

My favorite there is Orso and Glacier Brewhouse. Haven't been to club paris though.

Its unfortunate what's happening in Alaska right now. Kenai king fishery is closed, I believe the kasilof as well due to record low returning spawners. Hopefully this is reversible.

I was not aware of that. We were at the mouth of Prince William Sound and were slaying the fish, kings everywhere. Many multiply hook ups.
