Tesla Model S
Tesla says the Model S will get about 240 miles per charge [on lithium-ion batteries] while still offering "exceptional performance." Numbers being bandied about include 0–60 mph in less than 6 seconds. The Model S will have a base price of about $60,000 (versus the Roadster's $109,000 price tag).

price is bogus! roadster first started around 70-80k i think and then raised to 90k and then 110k by time delivery started.
i expect this to be over 70-80k easily by time its available. with gas price so low these days, i'd be weary of electric car sales.
