.223 sight-in question

Hey guys,
I like to use a 50M zero so POI is within 2.5" or so of POA out to 200+M. My question is how low should POI be at 25yds. I can't get out to a rifle range for a while with the new POF and only have access to an indoor 25yd range. I'm thinking around 2" low, or should it be closer to 1 1/2"?. Just trying to get in the ball park. I'm using some 62gr Federal American Eagle stuff.........BTW, shot it for the first time Monday....sweet

That's a good question. At 50m zero, the bullet is still climbing. I'd see where your point of impact/point of aim is first. My guess is that 1" or 1.5" is right - probably closer to 1". At close range the differences are very small.

Thanks Chris. I found a link here The Maryland AR15 Shooters Site Looks like you were right on....1.2" below POA at 25yds.
