Porsche Specialist in Houston, TX???
Don't know if this is the best place to post this thread, but here it goes. I'm wondering if anyone could suggest a Porsche Specialist shop around the Houston area. I just bought a 2002 996TT from a friend of my father's and got an incredible deal on it. Its out of warranty and would like to find an alternative to the dealer based upon how they get me whenever my GTS needs servicing.
On a second note, this car has been sitting for three years and only has 3000 miles on it. My question is what do I need to look for besides to change to oil and check the tires.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thank you, JC

Try Steve Ott at Driver Source.
Nice honest guy, and works on all kinds of high end stuff so the turbo should be no issue. And they are reasonably priced.

call ray joseph @ rpm. he's in houston and while he isnt a repair shop, he's one of the premier pcar dealers in the land. he knows the cars and the market, the shops dead cold. he's in houston so he should be able to point you in the right direction.
