Our spies have caught Ferrari's Enzo replacement out testing again. While the internal code—F150—might make some less-informed folks think Maranello has designed the worst pickup truck ever, the automotive world is bracing for what's sure to be an mind-bendingly awesome supercar. Power will come in at around 900hp and change, courtesy of a sure-to-be-sonorous V12 paired with an F1-derived KERS system.
Performance numbers are little more than math equations right now, but with that many ponies mated to a featherweight carbon fiber monocoque, this Cavallino is certain to be ferociously quick. Current estimates say a sprint to 60 will take less than 2.5 seconds—Bugatti Grand Sport territory—and while the terminal velocity is certain to be stratospheric, I see Ferrari being more concerned with delivering astonishing lap times than taking the top speed crown from the Veyron.
The F150 is expected to debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
