| Back in the day, before the big budgets and huge transporters, the cars were driven on public roads between rally stages. In order to keep the sound down, the two rear-facing tips were plugged and the exhaust only came out of the left tip. Then when the car was prepped before the rally stage, the two plugged tips were uncorked for max performance. |
