Getting closer!!!!!

Haas as chosen Grosjean and Gutierrez to drive. I guess I didn't make the cut.
Renault bought team Lotus. I am sad if the Lotus name is no longer in F1 but I am glad there is still a team to carry on.

I am anxiously awaiting for the 2016 season to start!

Rob99 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
An american car should use an american engine and no Ferrari customer engines. Chevrolet has the technical know-how, full capacity and the financial resources.

Problem, F1 is not as attractive as it was some time ago with Senna, Prost, Mansell, Piquet, Fittipaldi, ...
The engine would work only in F1, so the invested money wouldn't come back. In 1980s, everybody could overtake by using the boost controller, they could use their amount of 150L fuel during the race on its own interests. Senna drove through Monte Carlo with 1500hp. Nobody knows, who will finish first, depends on reliability, how they manage the fuel consumption, ...
Today, everything is restricted, the amount of fuel a lap, the engine main parameters, lots of aerodynamics elements.
The pole sitter will finish first, the order is clear from the beginning, nobody will retire due to a technical defect.

Comparing F1 1980 and 2015, it's now a shadow of of its former glory.

I totally agree Rob... I wish it was the case but IMO an American team using a Ferrari engine is better than no American team.

I like the video, but isn't the car sound at the end of it from pre-hybrid days? lol

Ha! I thought so. Sigh the good ol days.. those cars were awesome!

For HAAS they said their goal is to get into the points this year. IMO getting into points is a pretty lofty goal for sure - most likely they are really counting on Grosjean for that. I wish them the best but also would more so believe this year they are more likely to be one of the teams holding up the rear.

On the one hand it's nice to see an american car in FORMULA1, but on the other hand, if you know that Ferrari and Mercedes spending 24h 7days a week in wind tunnel, than yes, agree, they are more likely to be one of the teams holding up the rear, in this year.
