| Big problems for all the Renault-powered cars after Whiting rescinded the regulation changes for them this morning. So now only the Mercedes-powered cars have the engine over-run allowance, while the rest have to follow the 20% off-throttle regulations as before. (Renault was briefly allowed a 50% off-throttle allowance, but not anymore...although they're currently confronting Charlie Whiting about the situation). A few reports say Christian Horner is livid.
The FIA is doing a terrible job this weekend of going back & forth with the rule changes. |
