V3s are overkill. If you don't plan on absolutely riding frame, then the v1s do just fine. I have them on my a4

Thanks guys - and much has changed!

I switched my HRE order from the Golf to my new 911. I probably WON'T be modding the R, now that the 911 will be in my garage (plus I still need to finish my garage - paint, floor, lift, etc.). If I do end up modding it, I'll keep you guys informed... Thanks for the tip on the V3s. I know a lot of folks with them that love them - not much feedback on the other variants.

I have v1 in my Audi a3 3.2 (the real .:R :-P) and they are good for lowering (the looks). Good for everyday and ok on the Nordschleife. But if you drop them too low they are not that good anymore. I have 1 cm of thread left and the overall ride is hard but too soft when you need it (bumps or track)
So I think of getting v2 or v3 with a higher range of thread, so I keep the ride at this height but have better performance.
So of you just want a tad lower for the looks and some performance v1 is good enough.

Make sure to get the inox (stainless steel version).

I have the V2s on my 335 and like them. Enough adjustment for me, car handles well, and I don't have that super bumpy/twitchy problem I've had with other lowered cars.

The stance of your 335 is perfect. When you were following us down to that concert, all I could do was keep looking in the rear view mirror.
