LOL, latest MPG from the S4 Avant

13.7.

And that's with the mrs driving it most of the time.

Maybe I should do the RS4 motor swap, considering that it's much faster and gets closer to 20 with its new FI thingy technology. Has anyone done something like that? Would be a like a ghetto RS4 Avant conversion except the body parts.

And since they are all OBDII, I should be fine no?

See this thread. Though I should probably take some more picture.

I like the RS4 black grill, works much better than the S4 blah grill.

I smell a full RS4 conversion coming up, wouldn't it be cool to have the only B7 RS4 avant in the states?

Yes yes it would.

When this car has enough miles, and RS4 engines become cheap enough.

But I don't even know who to go to even ask about this kind of stuff.

The BMW world is so much easier. People have been doing E30 S50B32, S54, etc conversion all day long.

But AFAIK, no one has attempted this or anything like anything remotely to the BMW world in the US.

Lets get real: there's no way you're doing a swap of any kind in this car.

I would love to disagree with this small man and ridicule him, but I will have to agree.
