Boston in 1 day?
Gonna be in Boston tomorrow for the day and overnight. Obviously we're going to watch the fireworks at night, but what do I HAVE to see during the day? We're in Portland, ME now and driving down to Boston very early tomorrow morning, once I take some pictures of the sunrise at Portland Head Lighthouse...

Stop in Portsmouth NH (you'll pass thru it via 95S) and take some pictures- then head south directly to Boston. Tomorrow with be a cluster F- so good luck where ever you go...
I'd park in the 'Common Garage' if you get there early enough and just take the T or a cab around town. Go to Stephanies on Newbury St and have a Sam Adams for me.

Yeah, I'm sure it's going to be insane - I'm hoping the weather mostly holds out at least. I'm used to DC on the 4th, so hopefully we'll survive...
We'll have parking at our hotel in Cambridge, so I'll definitely leave the car there and taxi around. I'll try and hit Stephanies for you!

Brad, thanks again for all the tips on the phone. It's going to make our day run significantly more smoothly.
I'm definitely hitting Mike's pastry. I gotta compare it to Termini Bros. in Philly!

Sounds good. BTW, Montreal was amazing - we had a great time and there are so many cool things about that city. I took pictures of the fireworks for Canada day from Mount Royal looking over the city. The pics turned out amazing, but I need to get them all together once I get home at the end of the week. And of course that picture of the Notre Dame that I already posted.
