Hey guys,

It's hard to beleive that we are going into year 4 of C&C. As some of you know, this event has grown from a small gathering at Caribou with 30-40 cars to a montly showing of 500+ cars inside the Motorplex on any given First Saturday.

April may be a little colder for us this year, but the extended forecast shows sun every day from now to next Saturday which means that most of this snow and ice will be gone by then.
In order to keep things organised, please try to arrive as early as possible (the event starts at 8am) so that you can get a parking spot. We have gotten to the point where we have to turn people away or ask them to park in spectator parking when they arrive after 9:00 because there is no room. There is some extra parking this year, so take a look at the map and follow the direction of the people that will be helping you park.
Please keep the burnouts and hard launches for the track. We need to be respectful of the property and our host as well as the garage owners that allow us to have our event at their place.

The location is the Minneapolis AutoMotorplex located at:
8200 Audobon Rd. Chanhassen MN

For people traveling east of 494 we would encourage you to take the Crosstown (62) extension (HWY 5) the where it becomes 212, exit on Powers Blvd (Which is 1 exit past 101) go right, drive approx 500 ft and turn left on Lyman (at the light) travel approximately 1 mile, turn right on Audubon and we will be 1.1 mile on the left.

Weather is already looking good on the outlook next Saturday. There are only 6 spots left for the Karting event afterwards. More info here: mncandc.com

 

Despite rain in the forecast, yesterday's weather for C&C couldn't have been any better! Great morning at the MotorPlex with a huge turnout! The parking lot was packed and cars were being turned away by the start of the event at 8AM! I'm glad I got there early to secure my spot.

I'm bummed I missed the last event but it was great to get caught up with old friends who I hadn't seen in awhile and to take some pics of all the nice cars there.

One of the first cars to arrive was this pre-production Audi A6 that was loaded to the gills.





Full LED headlights for DRLs, headlights, and high beams.








The local 350Z club arrived all at once and in full force.


A lone GT3 showed up early.




The noise from this Subaru WRX STi rally car's unmuffled boxer engine pierced the quiet morning air from quite a ways away.
















Imola Motorsports showed up with their EVOMS EVT775 997TT, fresh from a recent track day.






Luxury Motors brought out a handful of cars from their showroom including this beautiful Bentley Supersports.

After the show, a group of us went karting. This was my ride to the go-kart track! What a beast!











A nice 300SLR that met us at the track. This car has been raced in the Carrera Panamerica several times over the years but it still looks gorgeous!
