Diesel models in Dubai?
Hi all,
My father in law is looking to buy a new car in Dubai as he's moving to his new home in France in 12 months, but would obviously prefer to buy a diesel as it's much cheaper in France.
There have been rumours about importers bringing in diesel models for a while, has anyone heard anything more?
He's looking at the Audi Q5.

The official importer here for Audi doesn't carry a running stock of diesels. He'll have to custom order it from them, or get it from the used car market.
Even then I doubt he'd be able to find a Q5 diesel here.
