Not sure yet, Eric. Job is actually in Hanford...eek. Going with the Mrs. in early Jan to check out the towns (Hanford/Visalia) and see if it's something she can live with. It's really up to her at this point. Job seems good, comp is terrific. Location is the biggest stumbling block now. We'll see......

I've noticed docs tend to underestimate the sensations we encounter after surgeries.
Then again, they inflict those, not deal with them.
Visits to the IRS are painless as well .. right?

Good that the wife will take up the slack, I'm sure you won't starve.

I'll take every opportunity I can for using the cooker as these cooler temps will set in.
Cooked up a rack of spare ribs first of the week, you could suck the meat off the bone.
Don't know when that''ll happen again.
I envy you and the milder temps Sonoma provides.

Colder temps are setting in here, comfort meals.
Thursday, put together a crawfish sauce piquant, froze near 2 lbs of it today.

Enjoy your meal, it does look tasty.

Had acromioplasty on my left shoulder several years ago.
She wouldn't let me drive for a week.
When I did, terrified her when I couldn't hold the steering wheel & shift at the same time as the left arm just didn't want to work quite yet.

Cook a whole bunch before hand, stock up on wine.
I got tired of the drug induced haze too fast.
Good luck & enjoy the time off.

Crab cakes were awesome Eric. Added a bit of celery to the mix.
For the remoulade, tried a different recipe out of Emeril's Delmonico cookbook.
Need shrimp for the leftover sauce. I'll solve that tomorrow.
