I usually love tests by german mags such as Auto Bild or Auto Motors und Sport, but this is the expection. Their comparison tests are one of a kind, nobody else making them in such a perfect way, but germans usually want to place their cars higher than they actually are placed and accepted by everyone else, while living a long time in Munich I understood this for sure. That is the main reason for such tests. E500 Coupe and S5 are one league and Granturismo is absolutely another league, to my mind the main competitor from MB model range is CL500.
