| The aero jabbering is largely marketing. The car does not generate a significant amount of downforce. You can lose the wing without sacrificing much stability, and reducing drag quite a bit.
If you're concerned with (very) high speed stability, run a more aggressive diffuser with longer strakes and you'll be good.
Note that removing the wing sucks quite a lot. There's quite a bit of adhesive under the three mount points that must be removed carefully before it'll release. Also, you will need to modify the trunk release wiring harness slightly to delete the brake light in the wing.
