This 1983 Toyota FJ has been with us for some time now and about 1 or 2 ago the office decided that it needs to go.... so I adopted it and determined it is worthy of a 3rd chance. Its second go at life came after the original engine caught fire shortly after its twin was wrecked, thus an engine transplant took place.
This truck has been used around the factory to tow and transport all kinds of things so it was very much banged up when I started (I will try and dig up some old pix)... Now the exterior and interior are pretty much done, but I still have lots of details that I have to arrange for... like the gages, different knobs, door weather seals, engine dressing, new bumper etc



Right now I am happy that it drives well, looks relatively good and has an aircon that cools

I will be picking her up later this week

 

Congrats Hani! Is it faster than your 2RS?

I'd do something a bit more retro with the wheels. The ones in the pics don't do the truck justice, imo.
