Porsche to replace engines of all 991 GT3's
#14
Question for owners of delivered & contracted for mY14 GT3's:
Assuming you decide to keep your delivered or allotted MY14 GT3, would you feel more confident of the performance & potential resale value if the replacement work were done by the Factory on a dedicated line that would do the "divorce" & "marriage"?? Perhaps match the vin & block #'s??

My point was that since he's the overseer/chief of the entire program perhaps he would still be held accountable in some way, shape, or form in the eyes of Piech or others on the board. I'm hoping not, but just food for thought.

Not mine. Most all Porsche Tech guys are more than qualified to replace the motor. I've removed a tranny and motor from one, and it's rather easy once you've done it the first time. Porsche is probably one of the easiest cars to replace a motor. And it can be done fast. So not everyone thinks you Tech guys are bad.
