Hmm, in my experience, MACarbon makes it a point to match the weave of the CF. For my 996 and 987, the weaves were completely different, and the MACarbon products matched them perfectly. I'm less familiar with the CF weave inside the CGT, but given that they have distinct weaves for their Ferrari, Lambo, Audi, and Porsche products, I'd be surprised if they couldn't get it to match close to 100%.
Ironically, Porsche themselves have dropped the ball when it comes to matching CF weaves. The CF on the back of the 997 bucket seats have twill weaves, whereas the other CF interior bits (and exterior bits) are all standard weaves. |
